From break-fix to something steadier

Green Link Tech started life as PC Network Consultant, working mostly on home computers — one problem at a time, one call at a time. That work taught me a lot, but it isn’t a way to actually help anyone. You show up after something has already gone wrong.

Moving to business clients changed that. When you manage an environment instead of visiting it, you can stop problems before they cost someone their morning. That shift is where the Green Link Tech name came from, and it’s still how we work.

Who we are now

There are four of us — three full-time and one part-time. We’ve never had a sales team. Every client we have came from someone else recommending us, which is slower than advertising and works considerably better.

Today we look after fifty-two companies and around 250 machines. We’re based in San Antonio and work with businesses here and in Round Rock, and we support locations in Florida, Louisiana, and Arizona—mostly self-storage operators who brought us in through their management companies and then kept us as they added properties.

Some of our clients have been with us since the beginning.

Why we still like it

Honestly, the challenge. IT support is different every day, and the puzzle never gets old. We joke about saving the world one PC at a time, and there’s something to it—for the businesses we look after, technology working properly is the difference between a good week and a bad one.

That’s the whole job.
